I just returned from the Iowa WOCP State Board meeting – WOW! These ladies are amazing and have such great plans for the SIX STATE REGIONAL SHOW May 20-22, 2010 in Dubuque , IA. The states who are participating are Iowa, Illinois, Minnesota, North Dakota, South Dakota and Wisconsin. A lot of work and thought has gone into the planning – it sounds like it’s going to be a fabulous show. I’m looking forward to it! For more details, check out the Iowa WOCP website: iwocp.org.

Well, my new book is now available in both paperback and e-book.
It’s called “Journal of Gratitude – A 30 Day Guide”. I wrote it with the intent of leading a person through a process of starting their own journal. From personal experience, I found it helped me with my creativity and painting, as well as with my outlook on life. It is sprinkled with photos of some of my artwork.

It has been a great week! I received the PRINTED PROOF of my first book this past Thursday! I was in heaven! I should receive my first shipment from my publisher next week. I am SO EXCITED!!! What’s it about? Watch this space

Greetings! I just completed hosting a private portrait seminar in my home studio this past week. It was delightful having the ladies here. My mother served lunch – we ate like royalty!!
I love having people come to the house and share my love for porcelain art! I know the ladies had a great time, as they have already selected the next piece they want to paint and are coming back after the first of the year.
